Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

At CosmicShradha, we strive to provide the best astrology consultation experience. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing cancellations, refunds, and wallet transactions. We encourage you to read this policy carefully before booking any services. By using our platform, you agree to this policy in its entirety.

2. Wallet Balance and Transactions

2.1 Adding Funds
  • Users can add funds to their in-app wallet using accepted payment methods
  • All wallet transactions are processed securely through our payment partners
  • Once funds are added to your wallet, they are non-refundable to the original payment method
  • Wallet balance can be used for any services on the platform
2.2 Wallet Refunds
  • Refunds for eligible cancellations will be credited back to your wallet within 1-3 business days
  • Wallet refunds do not expire and can be used for future bookings
  • In exceptional cases, wallet balance may be refunded to the original payment method at our sole discretion

3. Consultation Booking Cancellations

3.1 User-Initiated Cancellations

Users can cancel consultations according to the following schedule:

More than 24 hours before session 100% refund to wallet
12-24 hours before session 75% refund to wallet
6-12 hours before session 50% refund to wallet
Less than 6 hours before session No refund

Note: To cancel a booking, go to "My Bookings" in the app and select "Cancel" for the respective session.

4. Astrologer-Initiated Cancellations

If an astrologer cancels a confirmed booking for any reason:

  • You will receive a full 100% refund to your wallet immediately
  • You will be notified via email and in-app notification
  • You may rebook with the same or different astrologer at no additional cost
  • In case of repeated cancellations by astrologers, we may offer additional compensation

5. No-Show Policy

5.1 User No-Show

If you fail to join a scheduled consultation within 10 minutes of the start time:

  • The session will be marked as a "no-show"
  • No refund will be issued
  • The full consultation fee will be charged
5.2 Astrologer No-Show

If an astrologer fails to join within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time:

  • You will receive a full 100% refund to your wallet
  • You may report the incident for further investigation
  • We will take appropriate action against the astrologer

6. Technical Issues and Disruptions

6.1 Platform Technical Issues

If technical issues on our end prevent the consultation from taking place:

  • You will receive a full refund to your wallet
  • We will offer to reschedule at no additional cost
  • Priority support will be provided to resolve the issue
6.2 User Technical Issues

If technical issues on your end (poor internet, device problems) prevent the session, no refund will be issued. We recommend testing your connection before booking and ensuring a stable environment for consultations.

7. Partial Session Completion

If a consultation is interrupted or cut short due to technical issues or other reasons:

  • Platform Issues: Full refund for unused time credited to wallet
  • Astrologer Issues: Refund for unused time + option to reschedule
  • User Issues: You will be charged for the actual time used; no refund for unused time
  • Charges are calculated based on per-minute pricing and actual session duration

8. Course Purchases and Subscriptions

8.1 One-Time Course Purchases
  • Course purchases are non-refundable once access is granted
  • You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not accessed more than 20% of the course content
  • Refunds for courses will be credited to your wallet
8.2 Subscription-Based Courses
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Access will continue until the end of the current billing period
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused subscription time
  • Canceled subscriptions will not auto-renew

9. Promotional Credits and Offers

  • Promotional credits and discounts are non-refundable
  • Unused promotional credits may expire as per the specific offer terms
  • Refunds for bookings made with promotional credits will exclude the promotional amount
  • Promotional offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated

Note: Refund times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you believe you are entitled to a refund not covered by this policy:

  • Contact our support team at support@cosmicshradha.com within 48 hours of the session
  • Provide detailed information about the issue, including booking ID and screenshots if applicable
  • Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days
  • Decisions made by CosmicShradha regarding refund eligibility are final

12. Account Closure and Wallet Balance

If you choose to close your account:

  • You may request a refund of your remaining wallet balance to your original payment method
  • Refund requests must be made within 30 days of account closure
  • A processing fee of 2.5% may be deducted from the refund amount
  • Minimum wallet balance of ₹100 is required to request a refund to the original payment method

13. Fraudulent Activity

CosmicShradha reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against users engaging in fraudulent activities, including but not limited to chargebacks, false refund claims, or abuse of the cancellation policy. Accounts found violating this policy may be suspended or permanently banned, and no refunds will be issued.

14. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our platform. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notifications.
